Utah Birth Story Photographer - Sanpete County Birth Photography - Family and Newborn Photographer

I don't take on many births each year due to the time commitment and stress of being "on call" for weeks leading up the big day. But, every time I've done it so far, it's been so so special and absolutely worth it. There is nothing more special than being able to witness a new life being brought into the world. Especially one joining a family as cool as this one. I LOVED seeing how much love and support this mama had all throughout her labor. I can already tell that this little guy is going to be so loved.

Cool side note: Big brother got to cut the cord! It was such a neat moment.

One Blessed Life - Family, Portrait and Wedding Photographer - Utah

I'm going to go ahead and jump out of my comfort zone and tell you a little more about my family and me today. As I'm sure you're aware by now (or at least I hope you are because you're here on my page), I'm Lizzie. The one behind the camera, most of the time. My husband Dave is whiz on the computer and is also a photographer (and a very great one, if I do say so myself) and might be seen as a second shooter for me occasionally but he is mostly behind the scenes, helping Lizzie B Imagery thrive in so many other ways.

Davey and I have 5 little ones (4 boys and 1 girl) who keep us busy, and altogether crazy. We love our life, with our little crew. Whether it's the mundane, day-to-day life,  the tantrums and tears that make us want to pull our hair out, or exciting adventures together, we love this life and this phase and wouldn't have it any other way.

Our children came to us each as their own special miracle who changed our lives and rocked our world as soon as even the idea of them came to be.

Our oldest son, Mason, came to us after a regular, happy, full-term delivery after the heartache of a previous miscarriage. He is 9 now and is so helpful and wonderful. He is quick and athletic for his little size and has a very competitive streak.

Jimmy entered the world 13 months later with a bang, a way too early bang, via emergency c-section after a scary placental abruption at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb 14 oz at birth. He spent almost 4 months in the NICU and, to this day, he is a tiny determined little fighter. He loves projects and workbooks and putting things together. He is always looking out for his siblings and has the most generous heart, always giving up what he has for those around him.

Nora joined the crew via a beautiful domestic open adoption. Blessing our lives with not only her sweet, special spirit but her amazing birth family. She is 5 now and is stubborn, spunky and all girl. She is a born mother, wanting to hold all the babies. She is glued to my side at all times lately and changes outfits at least 8 times each day. She also has the very best, most contagious, laugh in the entire world.

Grey was next, born just slightly premature at 36 weeks, after a high-risk pregnancy and via a successful v-bac. As soon as he learned to move, he was on the go and hasn't stopped since! He is 3 now and is constantly scaling cupboards, running from mama with a gleeful laugh and trying to cut things up or draw on walls. He thinks he can swim (he can't) and strips off his life jacket and sprints for the pool as soon as I turn my back. He is so smart and believes he can take apart and put together anything and everything. I'm convinced he is meant for great, great things, this smart, sweet boy.

Charlie is our beautiful baby. His was another high-risk pregnancy until he was born at 34 weeks after a very quick, unmedicated vbac. He was a strong little one and was only in the NICU for a couple weeks. He is now almost 2 and we're convinced that he's the cutest little baby in the world. He has a scowl for anyone that tries to mess with him and a twinkly-eyed, crooked smile for his mama and daddy, especially his daddy. He loves being outside and prefers wearing a single shoe, at all times, and his sister's Barbie shoes on his fingertips.

When I'm not chasing these remarkable little people around, I am probably out for a run or working on my business. I spend a lot of my time behind the camera and in front of the computer screen, creating art that comes from my heart. I work so hard in an attempt to produce work that makes viewers really feel something. I have a secret (or not so secret anymore) dream to travel the world with my family as a documentary photographer, capturing unposed, real, utterly raw moments in the lives of people all over the world. I want to help others tell their story by doing what I love.

For those that made it this far, thank you! I'd love to hear from you in the comments or on social media! I am grateful to get to know so many wonderful people because of my job, this website and social media. Thank you for being wonderful and taking the time to visit us here.
